As a roofing contractor over the years we have learnt that a number of questions are frequently asked by our customers so thought we would give you some straight forward answers to these to help you to make an informed decision when choosing a contractor.

How long will it take to receive our quotation?

We aim to provide a quotation within 48-72 hours of inspecting your roof.  Their may be some delay on more complex job specifications  but we will keep you informed if this is the case.  The quote will include the full specification of works required.

How long is my quotation Valid?

Our quotations are currently valid for three months due to the rapidly rising costs in materials currently being experienced.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

Yes we do.  We have £2,000,000 Public and Products Liability insurance and will provide proof on request.

Do you offer a guarantee?

We offer a ten year guarantee on all Roof renewals, Facia and Gutter renewals and Flat roof renewals.

Do you provide references?

Yes on request and you can visit past jobs to view our workmanship.  

What is the process after I have accepted my quotation?

If you decide to go ahead with the works specified in your quotation please let us know at your earliest convenience.  At this stage we will send you our acceptance of work form to sign and complete.  Once we have received your completed form we will be able to discuss dates to schedule your work.

Do you ask for a deposit?

For full pitched roof renewals and larger jobs we ask for a small deposit to secure the dates in our diary.

What is the process for a full roof renewal?

Once your job has been scheduled we will arrange for the scaffolding to be erected and let you know the date for this.  We arrange all deliveries of materials to site and skips for rubbish removal and to keep site tidy.  We aim to commence as soon as possible after the scaffolding is up (weather permitting).  Throughout the works we will keep you informed on progress and the potential completion date.  On completion we will ensure your property is left clean and tidy and all rubbish has been removed.  

Can I choose the tile and colour I like?

We will provide a choice of tiles that are suitable for your budget and property. Before commencing we will provide sample tiles for you to help choose your favourite.

When are your invoices payable?

We respectfully ask that invoices are paid within two days of receipt.  We accept bank transfer or cheque.



Does your contractor have a good reputation and offer references on request?

Are they a member for a review scheme so you can check previous customers feedback?

Do they have good reviews on Google?

How much experience does your contractor have in the industry?

Does your contractor hold public and employers liability insurance?

Is the work carried out guaranteed and for how long?

Did the contractor inspect your roof and explain the roofing requirements fully?

Is the price quoted a fixed price and are details of works to be carried out included within the quote?

Were you given an idea when the work could be scheduled to commence?

Do they have local examples of recent works carried out for you to view?

Is the contractor reliable?
